早上一位朋友来串门，然后叫我去他的 QQ-Zone 空间看看那个换页不会停掉的播放器，其实 QQ-Zone 除了大量的框架和脚本外，其实用性是极其低端的，我想微软的 Spaces 品位大概可以是它的十倍，哈，技术含量就不敢说了，但其定位实在不敢恭维——无论是功能或是界面；当然很多朋友还是在用，各花入各眼，这些牢骚也只是一些个人的意见罢了——然后，我推荐他去看看 Spaces，然后我偷偷地去搜索刚在他音乐盒那里听到的 Styrofoam，歌手叫 Daniel Powter。
乍听之下，很有 James Blunt 的味道，一样的感性，一样的诗意，一样的动人……如果说 James Blunt 是位从容不迫的吉他诗人，则他就是一位轻快活泼风格多样的钢琴诗人……我承认我听 Styrofoam 时已是一听钟情，听到 Bad Day 时更是喜欢到非常……喜欢这位加拿大吟唱诗人 Daniel Powter，这位集所有特殊风格、才华、以及天真和嘲讽于一身的北国青年人。

15年磨一剑的坚忍典范 Daniel Powter Daniel Powter 生长在加拿大英属哥伦比亚省的奥克纳根地区，自幼酷爱音乐，学习拉小提琴。他这种异于其他同龄小孩的行为使得他在学校处处受孤立，于是他把所有的热情都倾注到了音乐之中，为后来选择音乐道路打下了伏笔。与一些美国和加拿大的偶像艺人一鸣惊人的星路历程不同，Daniel 的不懈努力在 15 年后才终于结出硕果。他苦涩的奋斗过程充满了辛酸，勤勉地创作，演奏音乐，四处奔波联系唱片公司，不停地吃闭门羹。Daniel 自己说道，“我总是往唱片公司跑，感觉就像是奇渴难当的我被带到了某个水源却被禁止饮水。”他又补充道，“但我想我已经到达那里了，基本上我所要做的就是等待，认输只是一种极不成熟的处理方式。”

你最近还好吗？我承认两个月前那一次争吵是我的错。同时我不否认之前和你的时光只是打发时间。我害怕承诺，害怕接受与付出。Daniel Powter最新单曲CD听了吗？我在这个月里听了不下一百遍。心里感到很挣扎，因为发现自己对你的感觉如歌名一般【Love You Lately】。随这封信，寄一张给你，希望你可以感受得到。
我还很记得第一次你向我介绍自己，我不擅长记忆别人名字，经常错叫你“生沿”。后来你向我说起你的英文名：David，还自嘲因为你喜欢Davidoff的香水，让我更容易记忆。的确，出于以前对Davidoff香烟的喜爱，我很快记住了David，徐沿生。
一周前，我们第一次约会的餐厅被拆了，废墟上将建起一座新的酒店。拆的那一天我去看了，推土机一下子就将餐厅大门推倒了，“Deep Blue”的牌子淹没在尘土中。一家好特别的餐厅就这样没了，它由始至终只有一首音乐：Keiko Matsui的“Deep Blue”。那天你喷的“Cool Water Deep”很淡，后来你说害怕我对男性喷香水反感。要不是你邀请我跳舞，我都不会察觉这款香水与“Deep Blue”是多么的和谐。伴随一阵阵如深海般的灯光，软绵绵的舞池，催人欲醉的海浪声，你就像一个海里的精灵。
之后发生的一切是酒精作祟！我一直这样说服自己。竟不知难道五杯芝华士的酒意能维持半年？！我讨厌只听一首音乐疯跳一小时和灌3杯以上的酒，才推托灯光太亮，邀请你到我家。房子是倩宁留给我的，从此害怕窗外江边霓虹光芒的我，买了一套遮光很好厚实的罗马帘。那晚我们一整夜应该也没有开灯吧？依稀记得我顺手拿起大门旁边的遥控器就乱按，第一首歌应该是Los Aterciopelados的“El Estuche”，忘记了。我搂着你疯跳了一阵，酒精就把我覆盖了。你什么时候关掉音响，什么时候离开我都不知道。是热辣辣的阳光晒烫了我的屁股让我醒来。只好打电话给你，你已经在开会了。呵呵。
这几天很多我们一起的情景都萦绕心头，肯定了我对你的感觉。我怀念几乎每天晚上属于我们两人的“Dancing Time in the Dark”。从一开始的Flamenco，Latin Rock，R&B，Hip-Hop到最后我们的挚爱Chill Out。我爱Chill Out music是因为喜欢将我冰凉的脚丫踩在你温暖的脚面上；喜欢用你劳累一天长出的胡渣摩挲着脸部的感觉；喜欢用手绕在你的脖子上；喜欢你嘴唇贴在我耳珠上轻声说话；喜欢你呼吸的温暖气息从脖子滑进身体；喜欢你轻吻我的鼻子……
