05年进大学的时候开始大范围接触LP的歌，三年多了，始终对这首歌保持着最初的热衷，不仅仅因为Chester那独一无二的撕心裂肺的吼声，还有Mike Shinoda那极具磁性的rap，然而，最主要的原因应该是它的歌词。
也许是我倔强的性格和无法改变的现实让我对"I'm tired of being what you want me to be，Feeling so faithless lost under the surface，Don't know what you're expecting of me
Put under the pressure of walking in your shoes"有着独特的理解，呵呵，有时候我的想法可能是和常人不一样。
不曾听到某人说过LP的歌词都比较悲观。的确如此，Numb就是一个典型，耳熟能详的In the end，Crawling也不例外。

这首来自林肯公园的NUMB写出了情侣在恋爱中遇到的困惑。现在全世界的情侣都希望对方成为自己需要的那种，在恋爱中给予了对方很大的压力，最终失去对方。
第一句“I\'m tired of being what you want me to be”就表达了一方对感情的宣泄。一句“Can\'t you see that you\'re smothering me？Holding too tightly afraid to lose control”更加直白的写出了这种窒息的感觉。
在歌的结束时候最后一句“Is everything what you want me to be？”让人深思。
我想我们都应该给对方一些空间、一些自由.
